Quartetto Adorno was founded in 2015: Edoardo Zosi and Liù Pelliciari violins, Benedetta Bucci viola and Danilo Squitieri cello attended the advanced courses for string quartet held by Miguel Da Silva (Quatuor Ysaye), A. Farulli and A. Nannoni at the “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole”.

Their name, Quartetto Adorno, is a tribute to the great philosopher Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno who, in an age of musical and social decline, saw chamber music as the only path to salvation.
