Musikàmera, founded by a group of chamber music enthusiasts from different musical and professional background, aims to cultivate an ever broader audience among the city's residence with particular attention focused on schools and universities. To this end all the concerts will be preceded a brief presentation.
In this endeavour, Musikàmera enjoys the support of Teatro La Fenice which hosts both the concerts and other initiatives, such as the events specifically designed for middle schools from the city and the surrounding area.
Musikàmera will coordinate carefully with other chamber music associations, in particular Amici della Musica in Mestre, bearing in mind their common cultural objectives and the need to limit the expenses involved in organising quality chamber music concerts.
Further efforts will be made to promote this project abroad so as to attract the city's and the theatre's many visitors.
Musikàmera is a non profit organisation and the organising committee provides its services pro bono.
A part of Musikàmera will be focused on a younger audience: Musik@giovani is a cycle of conference-concerts specifically designed for young people from the local area, a series of conference-concerts demonstrating the enjoyment and appreciation of art music. These events will also include a guided tour of Teatro La Fenice, a landmark in our history, music and literature.
